In 2022 the Moving for Connection & Social Justice project supported Kyokan Foundation in South Kolkata, helping 100 kids in socio-emotional learning and addressing resilience through somatic practices including movement, yoga, storytelling and art. In 2023 MFC continued as a bigger community to support these kids and their families. A big thank you to those who supported us! The proposed project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal #4— ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning  opportunities for all.

A passionate intrapreneur and social change enthusiast, Sabari has travelled to different lands only to re-emphasize the importance of Trauma Informed Workplaces. Besides helping Kyokan since inception, she has fundraised to support Kyokan’s mission and vision, towards building a sustainable plan for our projects. A firm believer in socio emotional learning, Sabari spends her weekends working with old age residential care homes and rehabilitation centres for elderly people in West Bengal.
